Kurina Sohn

Kurina Sohn is a multidisciplinary artist from South Korea, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Her work explores alternative worlds, life forms and narratives that challenge familiar ways of seeing. She takes a poetic, research-led approach to develop open and inclusive readings of contemporary reality. Her practice focuses on the unknown and the limits of human understanding, particularly in relation to emerging technologies. Combining theory with material experimentation, she works with soft robotics, artificial intelligence and digital fabrication. Her projects range from sculptural objects to immersive installations.
